Default Question for Sketchup Users

I want to install Sketchup on a new computer. It seems the web page wants me to install SketchupFree, which is an online version. All I want is to use my same old version I had before.

So my question is do I install the Pro trial version and wait for it to expire? That should leave me with SketchupMake, or ... what?

Thanks
Mike

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

I think installing the Pro version, then letting it expire would work. But just in case, here's a link to downloading older versions of Sketchup:

No answer here for you, Mike. I've installed several versions but I've never learned to use it like you can. DOH!

Me either, Paul. Don't you just hate smart people? I have a T-shirt that says that. Except with "people" misspelled.

Mike, could you download the one on your old computer direct,or to a thumb drive and plug it into the new computer?
There are programs too that you can save all the data on an old computer hard drive and transfer it to the new computer.
I have downloaded game programs to a disc and then uploaded it to a new computer before.

You couldn't load the exe files onto a stick and transfer them?

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. After reading your replies, the fog lifted and I realized that I had the installer for Sketchup Make in my downloads folder. I copied it over to the new PC, run it, and VOILA. It installed in just a matter of seconds.

Thanks again. Another task I can mark of the list.
