Didn't know Costco had that clearance notifications service. Can't get those earphones here but at least I'm signed up now. Thanks Barb.

We let them charge overnight, and I'm testing them now. You're right. They have good sound, and it's not overly loud even when the volume is all the way up. (Ken did that part, not me. Won't be keeping it at max, just testing them. I think there's a internal max, which is good to prevent us dummies who love to rock out a bit too much from damaging our ears further.) Ken was standing there talking to me, and I"m like "I can't hear a word you're saying. I just see your mouth flappin." ROFL I may have to wear these more than just out in the shop if he gets on my nerves Had him call me, and the sound is AMAZING!!! Okay. Ready for good enough weather to head out to my little shop of sawdust, dangit!!!!

It was totally kewl, Jim! Had Ken call me, and the sound was clearer than anything I've ever had. Of course, it helps that the headset is sound deadening, but still. First time I used my phone to answer, then had him call me back, to see if I can use the lone button on the headphones to answer. Yup. Pressed the button, and he was there. Ken said he could hear me good, too. I NEED WARM WEATHER!!!! UUUUUUUGH!

Steve, we were just at Costco looking around. Too cold to be doing much of anything else, and we needed to get a few major staples for the house (Peanut Butter and Coffee, not necessarily in that order, of course and a few other things). We had also picked up our grandson for the remainder of the week from the eastern side of the state, and was on our way home, stopping, because once I got home, I had absolutely NO intention of heading back out in this frozen hell under any circumstances

We were on the "household" side, I guess you could call it, in the last row before the produce, and Ken saw them. I didn't realize they were the same ones Doug had. I just saw they were $30 and was sold. I was thinking they were gonna be like $50 or more. Needless to say, I was pumped. Now that I've tried them, now I'm even antsier to get out to my little shop of sawdust.

Thanks for the update Barb. I'm going to get some too. I'm in Kentucky, so my weather isn't as bad as yours. But yesterday it only got up to 8 degrees for about an hour, then went back down. It's 12 right now. Break out the shorts and shades.

It seems I never finish what I

I wear blue-tooth equipped ear protectors in the shop, and they’re excellent. I have the Sirius/XM radio app on my cell phone, and I can listen to old radio shows like Gunsmoke, Philip Marlowe, and Jack Benny on the Radio Classics channel while I work. When in the past I was only listening over a speaker, I would often delay starting a loud tool because I wanted to continue hearing the radio story. Now with the wireless-connected ear protectors, I can keep working without interruption.

I might have to go to Costco later today.... I would definitely grab a second pair if they are only $30! I wonder if a new model is coming out soon

Ollie,

What kind do you have?? Can you just get streaming or is there a am/fm radio in them too?? Phones apps do have some uses - not many, but a few.

Mine are just bluetooth, John. You can listen to any device that can connect via bluetooth, and stream sound from Spotify, online radio stations, or whatever.

@chessnut2 @OutoftheWoodwork Thanks you two.... I had to swing by Costco and grab a 2nd pair at that price! There goes my allowance for this month!

Great deal, for sure.
