We call it hydro as at one time our electricity was generated from a water source. Niagara Falls. Now its water, nuclear energy, gas fired generating and a tiny bit from solar and wind. Here in Ontario our "leaders" transitioned from coal fired plants a while back. A number of our politicians generate their own power from "gas". I believe the greatest amount generated here in Ontario is from nuclear energy. My DIL is an engineer at one of our facilities. I can pick her out in a crowd by the glow.

Interesting site. After looking around it I found this article on "global warming"

NASA hides page saying the Sun was the primary climate driver, and clouds and particles are more important than greenhouse gases JoNova

Jo Nova is one of those journalists who is really worth following. Solid investigative research.

Further to Thomas's comment, here in BC most of our electricity is from hydro-electric (dams and turbines). Some in remoter areas is from diesel or Natural gas fired generation.
The newest dam, Site C, is a huge source of contention...it's gonna be biiiig!

Australia has nothing to worry about. If the Democrats get their way with the NEW GREEN DEAL then in 10 years the U.S will be leading the pack.

Here in Quebec it is almost all Hydro powered with some wind energy also and the Nukes are closed. Not sure but I think we have the lowest rates, but we also pay the highest taxes.

Don't fear your tools, pay attention and respect the tools and avoid injury.
