I have purchased from Banggood several times. Although the items I ordered were less than $15.00 each...they were all of good quality and I was happy. I don't think I would buy anything that I might have to send back as in costly items, due to communication/language difficulties. They have great prices on some hardware items, where you can get 10 or more for the price of 1 here in the USA. I figure most suppliers are getting a lot of these items from china anyway...so why not save my hard earned cash. If your a Harbor Freight fan, look into Banggood as an alternative.

You can't please all the people all of the time, I know that from years of being in business and bending over backwards to please my customers but every year there would be one or two unhappy customers that I would give a refund to just to get rid of them.

...looks like they are making a bunch of "red" and "blue" items...

Actually those reviews don't look bad when you read them.

I've bought lots of electronics parts from them and Aliexpress and have been satisfied. The prices are a quarter to a tenth of the price compared to suppliers on this side of the pond. The shipping times are very long though. Any issues that I've had were refunded (most of these were during our postal strike). I've ordered things for less than a dollar, shipped! For example, I wanted some cheap clasps to make boxes for small tools, accessories etc. Looking around here most were about $5 Canadian. I got 10 for less than $4C. I wouldn't put them on jewelry boxes but for what i want them for, no problem. Take a look here. Hardware has gone through the roof in stores around here.

I too have purchased many items, even two pairs of shoes which are of excellent quality and fit perfectly due to them having a chart showing sizes in different countries.

One issue with a lot of Banggood's stuff is that it is metric sized. In some cases that's a good thing as I now keep a set of hex shank metric sizes of drill bits with my Imperial ones. The metric sizes fall in between the Imperial sizes and give me more options through holes and pilot holes. If you are buying tenon cutters to match your Forstner set you are pout of luck.

One thing if anyone is looking at their LED lights as most all are for 230 volt circuits and I can't find a spec that says whether that is for a single pole 230 like Europe and Asia or double pole 230 like North America. I suspect it's the single pole 230 as LEDs have to use a driver to convert to 12-24 volt and I can't see a reason to make them double pole.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
