Default Well it looks like cardio is out of the question

Just came back from the hospital stress test , and even on medication for atrial fibrillation, my heart rate is 230 bpm while walking .
Will find out late next week what their plan is . The 200’s are a very bad place to be ,so I’m going to quit doing my 2 mile walk every second day .

I’m getting severe headaches , which I never got since I used my CPAP , but I’m suspecting this worsening A-Fib is the culprit now , as I’m noticing a shortness of breath .
If I quit posting ,it’s not because I don’t like you guys, it’s probably because my heart quit lol

I donít always insulate , but when I do .
Ok ,I never insulate

Rick, please don't joke about your condition, the Forum wouldn't be the same without you. My Grandma used to say"many a true word said in jest". FYI,one of my sil's had that same condition & was successfully treated with a type of Laser in hospital,in one short day/stay.Never had the same condition since. All the best,James.

Ya this stupid Apple Watch was telling me 186, whereas that heart monitor system from the hospital I wore for 24 hours is saying 230 bpm.

They just want to up my medicine dose . Itís like putting a Bandage on a herpes sore .
Wish theyíd just do something constructive , but I suspect they just want me to drop dead , this way the issue is solved , case closed .
The systems broken imo

Rick,

I've had heart surgery 6 times now, so they are watching me closely. I've had a racing heart several times and have found that every time I seem to be dehydrated. A 12 oz bottle of water, and in about 1/2 hour my heart slows down to 80-90. It's a cheap fix that shouldn't hurt you and something easy to try.

Work with the Docs man, we’ve all bought stock in insulation companies awaiting your actions.

Seriously, we are with you, do well.

Dehydration is why I died on that airplane. If you don't have enough hydration your heart will have to race to move the thicker blood. It also involves electrolytes. I'd check quick with the doc and tell him/her you're going to increase your liquid intake as a trial. I agree, stick around Rick, you add a flavor to the brew here. BTW, alcohol is NOT hydration, in fact, it is the opposite.
