About like we are in Louisiana - wet. Wednesday night we had 4.7" of rain in about 8 hours time, so lots of flooding, trees and power lines down, and last I heard there are over 3,000 without power until Monday or so.

I'm just East of Dallas and I have had puddles in my yard since June of last year. They just about dry out then we get another round of rain. A week ago we got 8.5" on this side of Dallas and I think most of it fell in our yard. We have frogs croaking looking for mates that have made some of the puddles home. It is so wet I can't mow and some of the grass is chest high now. We had light rain late this afternoon and I just checked the radar and we have rain headed this way again 80% chance. Forecast looks like it should rain all night and through till 2 PM tomorrow. The temperature here right now is 55 so the rain just makes it feel colder. At least we have a break in the winds.

That being said I do know Huston has been getting more than their fair share of rain and it looks like right now they just have spotty light rain. I'm not sure if they are expecting rain tonight.

Flying into Houston is always a little iffy when there are storms about. Just about every time I go there, we have to fly around to avoid the thunderheads.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.
