My own dad has been on my mind lately. He passed away in 1975, so he's be gone for more than half my lifetime. But I sure appreciate him and his dedication to making sure his family was taken care of. With our pre 1913 farmhouse, I learned a lot of carpentry and plumbing from keeping the walls from falling down. Glad my daughter lives close by so I still get to be dad. Have a great fathers' day y'all.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

The few of us here in Canada have also started to celebrate Father's Day. Actually, it's a new trait, brought back to the Great White North by the Raptors, just after they wiped out the Golden State Warriors. We'll probably continue the event and eventually make it a tradition, something like Christmas. The best to all.

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's on the forum. I know it isn't in the Aussie World, but to you dad's, as well. I don't know if you celebrate, but I think (at least on here) we can share the celebrating and the honoring of dads.

The older son texted Happy Father's Day. The younger son is staying out of communication because I want him to move his Jeep out of my drive so I can park closer to the house. So it goes.
