Default Steph's Sign Repair

Last year I made a sign for a family friend to put in her classroom. Well, somehow it fell and hit the concrete floor...and broke into two pieces. The wood I used is the project panel stuff Lowe's sells. A glue seam separated.

I have it repaired. After my sweetie does a little touch-up painting, it will be ready to hang on the wall again.

I glued the two pieces together using a band clamp and a board to keep it flat.
Then I turned it over, and using my little Dewalt compact router, routed a 2 1/2 inch wide trough for a plywood inlay that spans the crack.

I had a little help gluing in the patch panel. Blondie is experienced in glue work, and she was teaching her little brother the ropes!
