The first post was from a member- she was going to the grocery store! Who cares? I have heard of people getting bumped off a prospective list due to some shenanigans they posted. Were considered a bad risk where confidential material was involved. I had to posts a video on Youtube as I couldn't find any other way to send it to our chapter president. That will be the only one after reading this thread.

The only reason I even had a FB account was because, about a decade or so ago, I was taking a Photography class in a local community college and had a nut job of an instructor who insisted that every student in her class should join her whatever-they-called it on FB and give her confirmation “likes” every time she posted something class-relevant. As the class ended, I immediately removed everything from that page but, unfortunately, couldn’t delete the account because - guess what - FB wanted me to pay for that.

I have lost the link but last year there was a post showing how to delete a FB acct at no charge. Definitely worth looking at.

How do i permanently delete my facebook account?
To deactivate your Facebook account, follow these four steps:
Click the account menu down arrow at the top right of any Facebook page in your web browser.
Select 'Settings'
Choose 'General' in the left column.
Click 'Manage your account'
Press 'Deactivate your account', and then follow the steps to confirm your decision.
