Thumbs up A-Ha!

I think I have the fix for my Makita! You guys know how frustrated I was, after getting what I thought was my ultimate router, the Makita, after finding out there's no lights on the Makita's??? (Still planning on a gripe letter, btw.)

Well, some time ago, Ken and I were at the @Home store (it's complicated) and in the impulse aisle as we were getting in line to leave, I found this little light with a slide-on clip. Thought: "why not... if it doesn't work, $5 down the drain. If it does, WHOOP WHOOP we be in business!"

Well, many moons later, I ran across this little light, (or did Ken find it; I don't remember.) Anyway, I clamped it on, and lo' & behold, Let There Be Light!!!

The drawback? I have to remember to shut 'er off when I'm done otherwise, it's been working beauuuuuutifully!!!

Look up book lights on Amazon. That's what it looks like to me. You could also use some velcro tabs to hold it in place so it's easy to replace the batteries.

@DesertRatTom no, its not from Amazon. As I said, I found it at the At Home store. Haven't seen one like this before, and its not velcroed on. Who would want that sticky mess!? They fall off within a few uses. This clips on my router. Look closer.

Steve, when I get home I have to look at the package because I tried to find another one today with no luck. Luckily i have another way, using those lites allz at Menards. I was using that when Ken found this little one and reminded me about it. I'll try and post the pics when i get home of both packages
