Default My evening meal

Marlene is currently in hospital so without any domestic training during our 65 years of marriage I'm finding looking after myself a STEEP learning curve. This evenings meal is shown in the photograph.

The jelly roll can be counted as healthy- fruit and grains. Trust Marlene will be back home soon.

Sign in a bakery- If you lick the icing off a cupcake, it becomes a muffin and, therefore, is healthy.

Hope nothing serious with Marlene! Looks like a well-rounded supper to me, Harry.

Fruit, veggies, grains, and a desert. I don't see anything to wash it all down with, however. (??)

Lunch: a can of sardines and a brewski. A few crackers can't hurt...

Looks healthy to me. A single strip of bacon shows remarkable restraint Harry. Hope Marlene is back in stride very soon. Always worrisone when your sweetie isn't doing well.

I hope your wife gets well soon Harry.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Hope your wife returns soon...that is not a comment on your meal...looks great...

A small cookbook will spark ideas...on the other side of the healthy meal is this... it'll keep you busy watching somebody else cook...

Harry,

Hope Marlene gets well soon. I would be eating at the hospital. I have not cooked in 50 years!
