Talking We've Got Juice!!!

Whoop Whoop! Barbie's got juice to the shop!!! No more cords hanging all over the place, plugging and unplugging items to switch between tools... I coulda kissed my electrician!

Now before those of you who like to throw in your own "make sure" comments, and like to pick stuff apart, the electricity was put in by a master electrician, with almost 20 years experience. I work with him, and trust him. When we talked about putting in the electricity, he asked me a lot of questions. I answered them, and of course he saw the tools I have, and where they sit. He told us what he recommended for the box, and said we did good for the wire to hook up the plugs. He also oversaw Ken's work and inspected the plugs for accuracy. He went and bought the breakers, and the parts Ken and I didn't know what was needed, and the parts that were just easier for him to get, than us. I have the invoices filed.

Below is the picture of the completed said electrical box. I'll keep out the other picture that shows the guts so I don't temp those with their "you need", "are you sure you" "that looks like" or "you should have" comments.

ROFL There IS a 220 John, but I believe that's for the heater at the front top peak that Ken will be installing. He also has to install a plug over on the side wall for the fridge and freezer. (O M G I can FINALLY get that stand-up freezer out of my spare bedroom!!! YAY!!!!)

Nothin' like having the juice close at hand. I also like the double boxes. So many tools are far less than 10 amps. Did he put in several circuits? Is it too late to label them with a color code? Some color electrical tape will do, that way you'll know what circuit you're loading. 20 amp circuits are real dang good. Your electrician done good. Good investment. Gonna be a lot more fun in there, especially the heat.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

But Barb, it's an important safety thing. You really need to put this on the box.

@JOAT Theo, go sit down somewhere. Anyone who walks in there, and can't tell it's a breaker box, needs to get a good shock. They'll find out the hard way.

@DesertRatTom you too... go sit down No. He put all 26 electrical outlets (12 boxes, four(4) outlets each and two (2) boxes with two(2) outlets each) on two breakers. Of course he put in numerous breakers, and he labeled everything. The box can be piggy-backed, making it able to take 16 circuits.
