Question Email problem

I have a Dell laptop, Spectrum (Charter) internet service and Firefox browser. I have two emails- one personal, one for "business." My "business" emails for the last couple of weeks have new emails buried out of sequence so I have to scroll down to find them. Plus the first email is Dec. 31st and the last one on the first email page is January 2nd. A Spectrum CSR spent a half hour trying different things to no avail. She gave me the phone number for Dell. I called them twice and had both a bad connection and a bad foreign accent. Consequently, I gave up as I couldn't understand them- voice garbled plus the accent (with all due respect to them).
The CSR did several things including clearing history, cache and cookies. Still nothing- this is when she gave me the Dell number.
Any help or direction is appreciated. Not a real problem but a pain to find emails. BTW, my other email is OK plus the email in question on my Samsung tablet is OK.

Stick, my header is a bit different. We tried to rearrange/sort emails from most recent, etc. and it didn't change anything. Even tried other things as name, etc. My first page of emails starts with December 31st and goes down to the bottom as January 3rd with the most recent emails in between.

John is this web-based email like GMail? What email program are you using? Sounds more like a program function then a hardware which is why I question the call to Dell. If web based email then I have no idea but I would start with the user forum for that browser. In my case with my Centurylink email account I can access through a web mail account online and/or download my emails to my Outlook program. There are several free email programs available like Mozilla Thunderbird.

My sister has had nothing but problems with Spectrum's email service. It's pretty junky. I would get a gmail account, then set it to have all your spectrum emails automatically forwarded to gmail. It should show up there in the order they were received.

It seems I never finish what I

Jim, I have two email accounts with Spectrum and had Spectrum for about 23 years. This is the first problem. One email has the problem with sequence, the other is OK. I don't have any problem with either email account on my Samsung tablet.
Refer to my original post for what was done to solve the issue. Calls to Dell were useless.

For future reference, if you are having issues with outsourced tech support.. select the Spanish option for your language, then start speaking English when they pickup, the Spanish option puts you into a US based call center, and they all speak English.
