It's simple:

Wear a mask
Keep your distance from others
Use sanitizers a lot
Avoid large groups where you can't keep the spacing.
Be under 55
If over 55, don't go out except for necessities (wood for example)
If you're in your 70s stay at home and away from people as much as possible
If you have co-morbidities don't go anywhere or do anything that involves people, especially kids.
Quake in fear at home everytime the politicians squeal out some new conclusion that is different than what they concluded before.

See, that's all there is to it.

Barb, the only problem is he would probably figure it is a variant of sarcoidosis - and there is no cure for that either. But in many cases, it goes away spontaneously, so keep your fingers crossed.

@DesertRatTom if you believe all that then so be it. I am NOT gonna wear a mask everywhere, and I am NOT going to "Social Distance". I'm not a sheep to be lead to slaughter. And you're old enough to remember the Hong Kong Flu Pandemic. (You know, the one that was going on during WOODSTOCK?????) That flu back then was a bad string for its time as this one is, and they didn't shut down the entire country! This is BS and I'm callin it for what it is!

Secondly, it was a J O K E people! Crimany! Too bad members cant be trusted enough to delete their own threads, cuz I'd surely delete this one if you old geezers can't tell a joke when you see it.

@OutoftheWoodwork My post was a joke too. I'm 77, have lung problems, so masks for me, but I am so happy people are getting back into work and life. I'm with you on that. You're right, the Hong Kong and all the other strains were just as bad as Corona 19, if not worse. It has been horrible listening to the power grabbing politicians spout their crap and the medical experts babbling along about something they don't really know anything about, and the press publishing every scare story they can invent, and killing off thousands of older people, and boring, endless so-called news coverate when the whole story is so simple.

I'm a political person in many ways--comes with years of being a journalist--and it is clear to me that this is one party's hope to keep the fear and lies and BS flowing until after the election in hopes it will win. Screw everyone who is being damaged financially by their tactic. Those people have never counted to that political party, so far as the evidence goes so far.

But then, not everyone finds that so humorous.
I've won prizes for my editorials like that during my journalist days.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

Hong Kong Flu Pandemic had about 1 million cases worldwide with 100,000 deaths, USA has 1.6 million cases and 98,600 deaths on it's own and it's not over. Not the same.
