August/ September Contributor of the Month
This is a little late happening. I have to ask Admin to change the badge for our contributor of the month these days and with the 1st falling on the beginning of a long weekend it took longer than normal to get it done. Which is why we extended the time the honor applies. So it's really more like a Guest Contributor now. Any way I'm pleased to announce that our regular contributors have chosen Thomas1389 as our newest Contributor of the Month. Thomas always has good advice to give and years of experience to back it up. As I was looking back at some of his previous posts what really stood out was his sense of humor with quotes such as: "You can always tell a happy motorcyclist by the bugs on his teeth", and "You have impetus? Try Calamine lotion", and my favorite, "Whenever we were driving I was always getting a droning noise in my right ear. I couldn't get rid of it till I let her drive."
Since Thomas just had a birthday we'll cheap out and call this his birthday present too while we're at it. Congratulations Tom and thanks for all the years of service to the forum.
Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
