Default It's been a funny* day *unusual

Today was the day of a good friend's funeral, I was fully aware of which crematorium it was at so why O why did I set my GPS to the one we are visiting on Thursday for another friend's funeral? Twice my sweetheart asked if we were going the right way and it was only when we were almost there that I got a message from heaven that I was going in the wrong direction and it was only 10 minutes 'till the service. I turned around and then got completely lost, not being able to remember the name of the road in question in order to reset the GPS. With only minutes to go a road worker set us in the right direction and we arrived only a few minutes late after running from the car park through the rose gardens which were bathed in beautiful warm winter sun.
Would you believe that on the way home we were looking for a particular shopping centre that we hadn't visited for years and didn't know the name of the road it's on so we again couldn't set the GPS so got completely lost again. After driving for quite some time I recognised where we were, miles from where we should have been, but it was only three or four miles from the warehouse where I buy most of my pen kits and Acrylic blanks from so naturally that's where I headed and this shot shows what I came away with.

Nice haul, Harry. Sounds like maybe someone else was doing the steering for you today.

Hi Harry

Some beautiful blanks, and will make many handsome pens. I like the solid white with the black lines, simple but eye catching.

I guess we will see some pens soon.

The total cost was $A138.30 which is probably about $110.00 US for 10 pen kits, 30 blanks and 20 brass finials.

Harry sorry for your loss of your two friends. But with the blank selection and haul on pens I think you brought your spirit up a notch or two. I guess?
