Default AmI posting too much?

Having just re lettered some of the keys on my keyboard because they were no longer visible would indicate that I may be!

According to your stats, you average 5.05 posts per day. Now considering the content of those posts, I think you are not posting enough, you have good stuff to post, besides that sometimes, you’re a funny guy. lol (BTW what does that mean?) But I got to admit, I never heard of a keyboard wearing out!!

No, that just means you are making good use of a good tool. I don't think we've had any direct exchanges with the short time that I have been here, but I have to tell you, I have been searching the forums quite a bit to see how other woodworkers are solving problems, jigs, and etc. and I have found a wealth of info with the name harrysin attached to it. My thanks to you for that and I only hope I can return the favor sometime. Post on!

I have to second the motion made by Gerry but I'll reserve comment on the funny part. ;-)

Now, as for wearing out keyboards I'm on my "x"th? I end up replacing another one every year or two but I'm always searching. Unfortunately, good production keyboards with hall-effect keys are so rare they're snapped up as soon as they appear.

Anybody know where I can get a dual-detent ps2 compatible keyboard? I'll even take the old PC-ISO connector if I have to.

The info you post is invaluable. You do notpost too much, at all.
The numbers on my tape measure are wearing off. Tried re-numbering. Didn't work. Still measure (occasionally). Just use the numbers I can see. Makes for some interesting fit ups!

I think you keyboard indicates you need to sand the ends of your fingers smooth.

All it means is your keyboard is cheap.

Ron, I am of course aware what hall effect devices are but I wasn't aware that there were keyboards using them, presumably they would be silent, no click.

Any suggestions Mike for a quality cordless keyboard/mouse, this is my third in about four or five years. The previous one was a genuine Microsoft, still made in China!

Not as flippant a remark as it would first appear, since "making a bowl with sandpaper" and burning all my fingertips, they have become as smooth as the proverbial baby's bum! Perhaps the next keyboard will outlast all the previous ones.
