Default Glenmore

I received a 'phone call from a very excited Glenmore, after the trauma of the house fire he is now in his new home with a basement shop 10' x 24' very considerably bigger than his previous one and he's busy setting it up. He's so busy that he doesn't notice most of the aches and pains of his many health problems. A new computer is due within the next few days and so hopefully we shall hear from him.

Harry,

Thanks for that update. I have been thinking of and praying for Glenmore and his family ever since I heard the news of his tragedy. I cannot begin to imagine what he has been going through. I am glad to hear he is finding his feet.

Hi Harry,

I too talked with him the other day and he sounded as good as he ever has. I think this all may have had a purpose for his life, a cloud with a silver lining so to speak.

I can't wait to see what he puts together in the new space and the projects he cranks out and shares with us.

Glenmore is like a kid in a candy store with the new place. He was telling me about the wood delivery he was expecting and had to go since the cable guy arrived. I think the whole situation has been a blessing in disguise.

Yeah Mike, the lumber has came and Glenmore has already built Nanc a set of shelves. Installed more lights in the basment. He's turning on.

As you probably know Bob, the box with the camera and remote controls has gone walk-about so no pictures 'till the insurance pays out.

Ahh, I don't know Glenmore. Glad he's getting sorted again.

I'd thought it was a discussion on the amber nectar ! (The real amber nectar - not that other rat's piss ! :-) )

Cheers

Thanks guys Harry good news I found the remotes and the camera so when the new computer comes I'll be sure to update you all on the progress. I installed phone today in my shop. Got the bandsaw all set up onto its base. Made some shelves for my self today and made a miter saw stand a simple but efficent stand. Got to make one for the planer and drill press. Also going to make one for both my lathes since I have the room now I might put them all on one base. Also have to get my sharpening center up and running for my lathe tools. And still going through my boxes for my tools have about a truck load yet to go through. God works in mysterous ways from a fire to a nice house with all wood floors and a spacous landry center for Nancy and a dream shop for me. I'm definatly blessed with this and so many good friends here in my area and from the forum. It pays to nice to people. The firemen that put out the fire have graciously helped in are move. I was really depressed because I was always on the giving end I can pick things up but I can't walk with it. I've gotten worse with my health that it is truely noticable. I sat and cried that is how depressed I was about that. Now I'm like a fire ball in hell. I got Nancy's shelves up in two days after the wood and tools came in on Tuesday been down there in the shop constantly since. I'm in heaven. Thanks for the help guys and words of encouragement.

Glenmore it is good to see you doing well. God sometimes has a plan we don't see or understand. We just need to walk each day in His grace. Really looking forward to pics of the new shop. I trust the insurance thing went well; sometimes those folks can sure be irritating, almost as bad as the IRS.

Good to have you back, some of us that still don't know how to turn on a tool need lots of help from you. Glad things are turning out so well.
