Default Back from moose hunting

Got our moose. Also a Black bear that was insistent on taking the meat after we packed it 2 miles.
Had fun but the back-packing 600 lbs of meat 2 miles was tough.
I may soon be too old to do it, so while I can I do it. + I have fun & it eats good.
Need to learn to shoot them with 1 foot on the runway.

Maybe while still in the plane? Or get them in the plane? Sounds like a good time had by all, well most any way.

Yes an -06 I got from my dad.
Here's a nice hunt pic of central Alaska in Sept 09 of our camp. In the pic there are wolves, moose, sheep caribou, eagles, grizzly & black bear & a host of small critters. (we saw everything but the wolves) We even saw some old bison tracks. (hard to eat tracks, & not very filling )
