Default google and your PC

For the past month my puter was slow an I was getting a lot of e-mail from porn sites. If I was a young stud, I might not object to that. I have MS spyware and I thought that it can't be spyware. but to ease my mind I bought Spyware Doctor. It opened my eyes to Google. It was listed as a high risk, and said that they share you e-mail address. I removed google and all of the e-mail cookies (all porn) that was listed right below them, plus a lot of other cookies, there was 151 of them, that were classified as spyware.
I don't know if Google and Goooooogle (the linking for stuff at the top of this page), but I am staying away from Google and Goooooogle, just the same.
I really don't care if you still use Google, but I am not!

Hello trap,

I do believe that Google and Gooooooogle is a bird of a different color. Have you also checked your computer for Trojans, viruses and other spyware. Have you ran Hijack this and have a log reader check it. If not I know of a free help site that you can go to, download and run Hijack this then post the logs for them to read. Let me know and I will give you the link or it is in my signature. It is Subratam.org it is a antispyware site.

Hi Goonman,
Thanks for the responce.. After I ran the Antispyware, and dropped google, I am all right! Ran the antispyware again (after 5 hours) I only had 13 cookies.
I am not going to bunker down, after my run-in with google and I am going to search out goooooogle and see what they are.
I have tried Foxfire or it's Firefox, it just looked strange to me as far as navigation was conserned. To use to the MS Internet Explorer.
I have downloaded the hijack program and it looks okay.

I don't see why google would have a use to take your email address and sell it to spam companies. Google, is probably the largest internet related company and its stock is climbing every day. It constantly improves its services and provides its visitors with the best possible. I assure you, google isn't the source of your issues and I'm 100% sure. I suggest you download a piece of software called, AdAware SE, which can be located at: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ - it is probably the best anti-spyware software available.

Mark,
I did not say that Google sold e-mail addresses. What I said was that Google shared e-mail addresses. My problem was solved, by removing the cookies that were sent to my computer. I also stopped you using the Google Tool Bar.

It more then likely was the google tool bar that was the security alert. I've noticed that most tool bars can be exploited very easy.

Ahh... yeah, I'm going to agree with, datafry. I believe the Google Toolbar was exploited by a website or a piece of spyware.
