I recently (today) got Wireless Broadband internet thats in a usb that i got from criket (phone company idk if its known) i was looking for a router and found one at home which has no information no brand no info nothing in the back, only says Wireless Broadband Router, i tried using most ip addresses to get in the configuration of this unknown router and none of them work, i tried ipconfig thing and also none of it work the command prompt says
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::bd38:67b4:9cad
Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.243.44
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0
I tried all those numbers and none worked for it...btw u may have noticed im not good wit computers... and my grammar sucks o.o

drjersey, I do believe you to be confused by the term "router". This is a woodworking router forum, not an internet router forum. There may very well be someone here who can help you, but this forum is loaded with woodworking experts and enthusiasts, not IT experts. Best of luck.

1. Press the reset button to restore factory defaults.
2. Find the mac address - if it's been removed, connect it to your computer ethernet input and use this website: Find mac address.
3. Now use this website to lookup the manufacturer: Find Manf from mac address
