I use Firefox as my browser and it's spell checker is superb. If this is what you use just go to the add-ons and select dictionary English or American English!

The spell checker software, or site, that I use has been having trouble. I reloaded mine from it's folder on My computer, and it is working only part of the time. We might have the same one. My spelling is not good, so please excuse my short comings! And it's not working now, as we speak.
