Here goes, don"t kick me out. Routers are great, handheld router work is a great feeling. Buy a router, make a dovetail. Sure, to try it you have to buy a template, a few to a lotta bucks. Why round router plates? Square or oblong give greater accuracy, and apply to jigs much more easily. Safely holding workpiece and supporting router for edge routing. M&T joints, should be able to gang cut the tenons. My name, Vizrout, means visual routing, cutting to the layout line rather than a lot of measuring and remeasuring. I am not selling anything, interested in feedback and then advertising and selling. Thats for later. A cheap Harbor Freight clamp table, slightly modified, makes a great edge worker. Any size plywood groove cut with standard cutters, without moving the fence. Don"t know where this poat fits, maybe the round file cause I sound like I inhaled too much sawdust. 3" Rotary Table and Clamping Kit ?????

Concept of visual routing is my router plate with adjustable alignment indicators so I know exactly the margins of the installed cutter. Rather than measure I align the primary indicators with the layout lines of the workpiece. Will prepare show and tell with pictures of dovetails,traditional and vari-spaced, M&T joints,slots and grooves, etc. A HF clamp table is similar to the B&D Workmate table, modified so there is room for the cutter bit. The one I will show is the B&D. My router plate is square or oblong, therefore I can jig for X and Y cutting, making gang cutting of tenons easy.
I'm not too much into the internet stuff yet, but I am working on attachment pictures.

I think I'm gonna like your concept. Posting pictures isn't difficult. Getting them the correct size can be, though. At least, for me.
