Default Saying goodby to a faithful friend

I built a box today, but not one you would want to post. Max was a Pug, and 9 years, 2 months and 2 days old. (He was three weeks old when we got him) Not so old as dogs sometimes go, but Max was paralyzed in his hind quarters, He never complained, never felt sorry for himself, he just took life as it came to him, he lived for the moment and gave love totally unconditionally. Max quit eating almost three weeks ago. The vet said that even if they knew the reason at his age and with his condition there was little they could do. So we said goodbye and laid him to rest. I will miss you Max, ------I will miss you. Goodbye "little bitty tiny guy", my little "puppy boy"

I know exactly how you feel, Jerry. I had to have my 22 yr. old kitty (Lucky) put to sleep last year. You have lost a valued family member and my sympathy's are with you and your family.

My deepest condolences to you Jerry. I have lost many a faithful friend (5 cats, rabbit, snake, mouse, 4 turtles, 2 dogs, hamster) over the years. It's doesn't get any easier. They are family and just as hard to lose.

So sorry for loss, Jerry. I too had to put to rest a very dear pet a couple of years ago. It's hard.

Jerry, I can't add much to what's been said. I DO feel your pain, and am very sorry for your loss.
