Default Going home (or sawdust withdraw)

We head home in the morning, we have been with my son and daughter-in-law for 12 days all together. That is 12 days away from the shop and the smell and feel of sawdust!!! I have enjoyed the time here with James and Nikki, it has bee a joy, and a little strange to be in your child's home. We had thanksgiving at her parent's home and it was a special time to be sure. We get along really well with her family and that is a plus.

While in Houston I have ordered a "Super Dust Deputy http://www.store.oneida-air.com/thesuperdustdeputy.aspx" and a "Wynn Environmental series 35 Cartridge Kit 35A Series Cartridge Kit ( 35A274NANO)" for my HF DC. Once I get them in I will have completed another phase of my dust control system.

Oh yes just before we left home I picked up a "Jet DC-650" for 50.00 from a friend who just wanted to get rid of it. After these I will start on the Duct work to get everything coming off the ceiling. I am thinking I may dedicate the Jet DC 360 to the miter saw or table saw both create most of the dust I deal with. Oh yes again I will need to build a sanding table also.

At any rate I am ready to head east and for home and to quit spending money!!!!!

Drove all night Tuesday, Honey did most of it, and got home about 7:30AM Wensday and waiting there were the things I ordered. The items pictured will make up, along with my HF duct collector and thr Jet 1000B in the shop , the basis of my dust control system. I suppose that buying one big unit as one of my friends has done would be the ideal way to do things, but funds have been a major factor in doing it this way--maybe in a different time and in a different place. Besides I will have fun putting it all together I already have had some idea that are perhaps out of the box as it were.

Pic 1 the three most recent purchases
Pic 2 these will be at the center of dust removal in the shop
Pic 3 this cyclone is designed for single phase adaptation making a multi phase unit out of it.
Pic 4 the harbor freight unit with the top bag removed. I guess I will have to put it back till I get the system up and ready for conversion.

BJ you will not believe how many pictures I took to get these to be in focus!!!

Jerry,

I understand those cyclones are very effective.

Have fun putting it together..

I guess, next time you will take the truck....

Hey Jerry.....

Good to have you home! Looks like you have enough new toys to keep you out of trouble for a few days at least
