Default Aussies in New Mexico

Three Aussies have taken up residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico . . . at the BioPark Zoo. The fact that they are cute, (not-so) little Tasmanian Wombats will insure that they will have lots of friends and admirers.

Well, Ralph.

They are pests in Australia and we had to get someone to take them...ROTFL

I'm sure the zoo keepers here were an easy sell. Of course, if their babies get out and take over the countryside, reducing the population of native jackalopes, we might want a refund. ;-)

That's hilarious. Former resident of ABQ here. Performed CQA on the ponds and pond liners for the Tingley Park renovation down by the zoo. How's that train coming along?

No worries Ralph,

They are slow breeders and are seldom seen in the wild.

They can run very fast when they want to, but tend to dawdle over the roads at dusk....that's when you are likely to see one......(bump)......whoops.....
