Default Congratulations to Sam Stosur and all the Aussie fans

What an awesome display of tennis for Sam Stosur, taking out Serena Williams in straight sets for the championship at the US Open.

I loved it.

The first I heard of it was when an American friend emailed me! Personally, I prefer to make sawdust rather than watch tennis. I went off tennis when I was a young TV technician in England and it was panic stations every year if a set broke down whilst Wimbledon was on.

Whilst you fellows are patting yourselves on the back for tennis, you may as well do a little more for having 4 out of the top 10 "most livable cities" according to "The Economist" magazine. Melbourne scored #1, Vienna was second, followed by Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto. Sydney was in there, can't remember the other 2.
Not too shabby for a former penal colony.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Hi Bob,

If Roger had converted one of his two match points against Novak, I'm thinking Rafa would be holding title right now. For some reason Roger can beat Novak, but can't touch Rafa, who can't seem to beat Novak.

Kinda weird.
