Default Need Help with Router

I just Bought Viva Router 3G router.
and My Neighbor laptop has access to it with WIFI connection.

He always hits the Cap within 1 hour and rest of day I get really slow internet even though its 21 mbps.

Is there any software which Will configure the router to Limit Bandwidth for the particular MAC address ?

I tried to use Antamedia Hotspot, but unable to configure it, Dunno the actual way or does it even work with this kind of external router connected to primary pc by LAN.

Now I need a software to limit bandwidth

Del this is a woodworking forum. You need to find one for computers. Check with the manufacturer for setting up security.

Hi rehab,

Just set up security on the router and your neighbor will no longer be able to steal from your connection.

I agree with Mike... Set up WPA security so there is a password. Then the neighbor can't swipe your money.

I just had to do that for a friend.... All of a sudden his through put went faster than he'd ever sen before. His connection is a nominal 50 mbps, but he could never connect at more than about 394 Kbps. Once the security was set up and his firewall was re-enabled, he could do just about anything.
