Have a great trip, Mike.

I will be over-nighting in Denver, so wait on your report.

And hope the toilets don't fill up.

When do you plan on being there, James? Those Rocky Mountains are beautiful. Especially taking I-70 through to Utah.

Mike, I plan to be in Denver on Tues 5th June 2012.

I was going to travel via I-70 to Las Vegas, but another member suggested a route south via Bloomfield, NM - via Monument Valley to Grand Canyon. As we are not planning to visit Las Vegas, I think this will be the way to go.

Looking forward to seeing Monument Valley.....

Default Back home

We got on the train in Denver at 7p Tuesday, and arrived at Ann Arbor about 11:30p Wed. The whole trip across country there was no snow to be seen anywhere. Until we got to Kalamazoo, that is. Had 6 1/2" come down locally, so I had to dig my truck out at the train station. Holy crap. It was in the upper 60s in Denver, and in the 30s at home.
Packed all the winter wear for nothing.

James,
We are right off Rt 40 in Snowflake AZ.
Please stop in for an overnight on your way to the Grand Canyon.
BTW, the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert are practically in our front yard.

Thanks for the offer, Gene.

We are waiting on a response from a friend of Maree's in Kennett, Mo to see if we can squeeze in an extra night after we leave Detroit.

I will speak with you again closer to the time.
