Default More free wood

A few weeks ago I mentioned to a few friends that I was looking for some free wood, preferably Jarrah, capable of being milled to approx. 2" x 1". I was elated when one of these friends turned up with this lot of 1 3/4" x 3/4" Jarrah. He recently had house extensions carried out and was left with the original Jarrah roof timbers, some of which he prepared for me, even passing it all through his drum sander.

I bet that wouldn't cost too much to send to SYDNEY........ROTFLAO....

Luck has nothing to do with it Harry. You are good to your friends and they in turn are good to you....

we expect a photo shoot of the project, nothing less.......VBG.

Harry if you get it to Sydney in time James can pack it in his carry on for his trip to the US.

Mike, you are not thinking this through. If James packs it he might be charged for additional weight. If he has two boards strapped to his leg they would not charge him extra for a splint.

Hi Al,

I retire next Thursday, 26th April and we fly out on 15th May.

The guys ( and gals) on the forum have been a fantastic help in planning the trip and I will get to meet some of them while we are over there....

I will have enough luggage without adding timber to the load.......LOL
