Talking Honey, I am home - for good......

Today, 26th April, was my final day at work.

I am now retired........

The company shouted myself and 20 workmates to a fine lunch at a nearby restaurant and presented me with a Sony HDR-CX190E video camera.

That should come in very handy on the trip to the US.

Now, if I can manage to get out of bed before lunchtime......

Congratulations James!!! Retirement is great, except now you have more time to dedicate to woodworking. Wait a minute, that's not work, that's play! But congratulations anyway.

Enjoy your trip to the US!

Congrats James! Welcome to the world of eternal honey do's. Believe me. You had more time for yourself when you were working. You will find yourself saying; I was doing pretty good this morning, but I got over it.
Just kidding... I hope your retirement goes as well as mine has so far (12 yrs.).

Congrats,

My dad handled the Honey-do thing by hanging around my step mom so much it drove her nuts. She told him that if he didn't to go find something to stay busy and "out of her hair", she might snap. Now he has all the time to himself and his hobbies (mostly gun related) he wants.
