Default My wife is a keeper

My wife takes her mother to the casinos in Biloxi often. Her mom (pushing 90) loves to play the slots and it seems she manages to win a good bit of the time. She'll spot my wife for gas and lunch and a little gambling money so it's usually a wash for us. Today they went and my wife hits a machine for one nice pot and a couple more smaller ones and goes up about $150. She played that down to $125 and quit ahead. When she got home I was watching TV and she gives me a kiss, hands me a big Hershey's Special Dark chocolate bar and I felt something under it. When I checked I found a fresh, crisp, Benjamin. She told me to put it away for my planer.

Yup, ... definitely a keeper.

Yep. The $100 bill has Benjamin Franklin on it. Also known as a C note.

G'Day GulfcoastGuy,
Ihope you'd be keeper her anyways, just as the vows said on your wedding day.
I think it's pretty damn special that she shares her good fortune with the one she obviously loves.
You'd best make something very special for her when you get your planer.
Cheers, crowie

My wife would just spend the money on scrap-booking but I'm still keeping her (for the moment and when she hits 50 I'm trading her in for two 25yr old twins :-).

Well it's more her keeping me if you want the truth. We'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary next year. We're planning a muti-stop road trip to Key West, her favorite.

She already has a half-o-dozen items on the list.

Being in my mid-50's I can't imagine having to listen to 'one' 25yr girl for long. One in each ear - no way.

No offence intended to whomever may be out there. It's just the nature of the generational differences.

When it comes to luck at the casinos, I am usually the one who comes out the winner. At least between the wife and me. The casinos are the real winners. Anyway, I am the one who usually wins a little. And I always give her a little bit of it. I feel kinda guilty that she don't win often. But I will admit, when she does win, she always floats a little of it my way too. I think I'll hang on to the LOML as well. Even if she don't win at the casino, she's still a winner in my book.
