Default Oklahoma Tornado

Our hearts and prayers go out to all the people of Oklahoma and the Midwest from Japan. Incredible disaster, unbelievable storm system. It looks like the tsunami of 2011. 20 min of the Japanese news hour was on the disaster. May God heal all the broken hearts.

Workmanship is not perfection; it is how well you can cover your mistakes.

Thoughts and prayers for the people in OK, IL, NY/CT. Tornados can be most destructive, more so than hurricane, IMHO. My wife is director of our church daycare ministry. She has said many times what it would be like to face something like that. Exceptionally tragic (if there is such a thing) is the loss of the children who drowned in the basement. A water main broke and they were unable to escape.

John I had no idea, thought the building just gave way on them. Somehow that seems even more heartbreaking, to be trapped, especialy for children, I grieve for them and their families. Yes, our prayers are with them as well.

Yes, more difficult than hurricanes in the lack of time to prepare. Sandy Hook, Boston Marathon, now More, OK, and all the tragedies before them, including the tsunami.

Prayers being said, hearts broken.

Thumbs up

I have to say this.....prayers are not going to find those people a meal, or a hotel room, or transportation, or hospital bills, or anything else.

If you really want to help out, send cash to one of the families.

Any local Church should be able to give you names of people who need your help.

Do not send cash to any of the Government Alphabet Agencies. That money never reaches who really needs it.

Sponsor a family personally, instead of sending prayers.

Not that hard to do, if you make a few phone calls.
