Default Isn't summer over YET.

This is my summer whine. Upper 80s to mid 90s (both temp (F) and humidity).

Life in my garage shop is unpleasant. 30 minutes and I'm done!

Eagerly awaiting September. Until reading, posting and planning!

[next weather whine coming in January!]

Oh, well, no wonder, you live in VIRGINIA. I'm in North Carolina, where we get civilized weather. My small shop has a window in the back, with a fan blowing air thru the shop and out the door. Not at all unpleasant to work in, even on the hottest days. Winter now, that's a different story, I do have a heater that warms it nicely, but takes 15-20 minutes to do so.

Yeah Theo, BIG DIFFERENCE!

Winter does not bother me, garage (shop) connected and well insulated.

Fortunately even though I'm in Louisiana my shop seldom gets too hot to work. Could be because my garage shop is air conditioned.

Well down here in SW Louisiana it is hot & humid and I,have been ready for summer to be over since before it was officially summer. Right now I can't do any work because of my recent Carpal Tunnel surgery so I am occupying my time on my computer researching and planning projects & being a recliner potato. I am afraid by the time I can get back out to the workshop I will be too spoiled with the A/C in the house I may not want to go out to the shop except early morning and maybe late late afternoon.

I too live in southern Louisiana and without air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter I would sell my tools. I guess I could move into the house but I think my wife may not agree to allow that.
