Default Triton rebate

2 weeks ago I received my $20 rebate on my router.... It came in the form of a Visa gift card... I carried it until yesterday, and used it for breakfast.... The server brought it back to me and said there was only $16.66 left on it....
This is apparently a Visa scam.... So, if you get one of these cards from anyone, use it ASAP....

That sounds odd, I've obtained many rebates from various vendors for different things and have never had that happen. Did you contact Triton about it??

what you saw was the balance after deducted maintenance fees...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...

This is the latest scheme to steal money from us. If someone offers you a card instead of a paper check laugh at them and pass. That's the only way to convince merchants that offering a $15 gift card which has a $1 processing fee isn't going to work. (recent rebate on a video card)

Wow, really? Man what a crock of .... that comes up to 17% off a $20 rebate.
This is the first I've heard of this type of thing but I'm glad I went with a PC router instead of Triton now.
