Default Two VERY interesting sites

The first one in real time shows every aircraft in flight throughout the world. Click on any aircraft to see it's identification, where it's from and where it's going to. Plus air speed, altitude etc, etc.
The second one is similar but for shipping.

Flightradar24.com - Live flight tracker!
Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions

What the heck. It defaults to Perth.

I personally dislike the AIS data being available for public consumption.... the bad guys get to know too much information about our course, speed, cargo status and other vital details.

So much for security, loose lips sink ships!

Www.Sailwx.info is another fun one

Thanks Harry, having grown up in the great Lakes area in Canada I've always lived near the Freighter traffic and that site is great.

The page actually defaults to where you bookmark it so for me it comes up right on the Great Lakes.

That was the first thing that struck me Doug., I'm sure that terrorists would have paid huge money for such information but now they're getting it for free. Is it any wonder that so many ships are being raided by pirates.
