Default In my own defense

Questions about my state of mind have risen in recent responses to my posts (i.e. the Peruvian Project) and I feel compelled to dispel any misunderstandings. Attached is a certificate showing that although I suffer from an incurable condition called morbid whimsicality I am not a threat to myself or others. The doctors have warned, of course, that others who exhibit borderline whimsy could be temporarily affected and recommend wearing safety goggles while reading my posts. Thank you for your attention. Oliver, please be aware that I have never had any doubts concerning your perceived state of mind........ROTFL.

Yeah, but perceived by whom? You, him, the general public?

I believe the aforementioned certificate to be a forgery! Cleverly conceived, with the sole intent of beguiling a otherwise astute collection of academics into a false sense of security. Beware all woodworkers bearing documentation....

As long as you continue to be entertaining Oliver we're willing to ignore your condition.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

+1! Of course, you do have the certificate! But it's pretty clever, also!

Oliver, I really enjoy seeing your projects. Keep up the good work!

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
