Wink Has Jerry been at.....

my new PC?......ROTFLAO.

I have just upgraded to a new 'tower' PC, AMD quad core 3.4GHz, Windows 7 64bit, 8GB ram..

On the forum, something is happening that I have never seen before.

If I am in 'quick reply', type in some text and then move the cursor over to the elevator bar, the text disappears.....

The text re-appears when I move the cursor back.

Also the text in the boxes below the main text box comes and goes.....

I am just joking about Jerry causing as these seemed to be something he was complaining of a while ago....

Can you remember what caused this Jerry, if it happened to you?

I certainly mean no offense to any member...

Has anyone else seen this?

I am using Mozilla Firefox 25.

I may try another browser to see if the problem replicates.

When you say Jerry, do you mean Jerry Bowen, I understand if it is myself that you are kidding about. Let me know, and if it is me, I'm not offended at all, I'm a mess and I know it.

I believe he was refering to you Jerry... But he was thinking that once upon a time you were having the same problem and was wondering if you found an answer to that... so that "answer" might be of help to him.

Hi Jerry.

Yes I was referring to Jerry Bowen as I recalled that you had a similar problem with your computer.

Can you remember if that was the problem and how you solved the problem...

I used that title as I knew that you would be sure to read it....

That sure is a strange one.....

James, it may not be a browser issue. Sometimes video drivers do weird things like that. It happened to me once. Make sure you have the latest video driver from the manufacturer of the video chipset and not the Microsoft one. It's worth a try if all else fails.

Yes, I only bought this system on 31 October and loaded the drivers from the installation disk.

Cannot hurt to see if a new driver is available.

Actually James, I don't recall having that same problem, what happens if you restore to a previous date before the problem started?

There is no restore date, Jerry. It is a brand new system...

But thank you for the suggestion.
