Wow! What else can I say, Dick.

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Absolutely incredible. Kinda' leaves me speechless.

Spectacularly beautiful and likely the most intricate and detailed...but largest? Not by a country mile.

It would take me 4 years to carve a foot or two, if I could carve. Amazing detail.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Magnificent art work.

The world record noted in the article is not specific eg largest carving from one piece of timber from one artist.....

Unbelievable work, but I can't help but wonder about wood movement as it ages. It is so fragile in many places any movement at all would be a disaster.
