Thumbs down ???? My Birthday Today

Although I'm modest and like to hang back... I've enjoyed past years when James was the official greeter and kept up with birthdays. I know he moved from being an Official Greeter to being a Moderator (that was a good choice).

This year??? I missed that. I waited to see if anyone noticed at all and was starting to feel like no-one would notice. Then I noticed that something was wrong... look at the attached from today...

That may explain things. It's in my profile still-- But the forum overlooked me also? Now I feel... Nah (kidding)... I really don't...

If you don't get the 'bumps' you're not really a year older...

Ok mike I try ( but you check all the birthdays each day you will find most of them have not posted in years) then a lot of the new members do not post an introduction they post all over the place so you have to read each post every time to make sure there's not a new member hidden in each one,
So here it is Happy Birthday MIKE

LOL!!! Like I explained... Certainly not your fault --> The "Forums" software overlooked me. How were you to know it was my birthday? The forums software didn't pick that up for you to be able to see. You cannot be expected to look in everyone's profiles and keep track of that on your own. If you were having to do that, my hat would be off to you, paying you much needed homage and admiration... Just in being able to juggle "that."

I'm pointing that out because.. I'm thinking maybe there might be a bug in the system with that? Might be something we might want to look into... right?

LOL. That's about right! I pulled Sharon's car around the driveway with my truck. Her car was not getting any traction in the ice. I parked the truck on the street so she could just drive that to get her to work (and so she wouldn't have to drive up the hill to get out...)

Well, walking back down the driveway, I slipped and fell... and slid all the way down the driveway. All that was hurt was my pride. Sharon said she saw me... then I just disappeared... She said she couldn't see me, but she could hear me laughing. I just thought to myself-- "I knew that was slippery."

Smile Who's birthday....?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIKE......

Some forums automatically send you an e-mail, wishing you a happy birthday on the date you set in your profile. This forum does not.

Also if you go to the bottom of the home page there is a list of the members having a birthday that day. [but you know that, VBG]

As Semipro does, I also used to read the list every day, and still do, but it is hard to wish some one a happy birthday if they have not been on the forum for at least 2 years.....

I did make a fuss about this some time ago as most new members do not complete a profile so we do not know when it is their birthday.

If your date is in your profile, we will blame the computer for not letting us know.....LOL.

Also, when it it Monday morning here in Sydney, it is still Sunday evening in USA, so I get 14 hours advance warning....

You are not the only Mike with a birthday. Mine was the 5th. :-)

In an effort to make all right with the world. I do believe that James ought to host an all members only birthday bash at his shed. Transportation, lodging and meals included. BYOW!

Happy birthday Mike & Mike..
