Now I could be mistaken but while looking through this forum and generally searching the net, it appears that woodworking is incredibly popular in Australia. Lots of members of various forms are from Australia and many Australian suppliers of tools etc come up when I use Google to search.

Anybody else noticed this?

Our wonderful weather has a lot to do with that, Peter...

The big dis-advantage is the price we have to pay for tools.

Not only not noticed it, but don't care where members are from. The more the merrier.

I follow about 3-4 forums and what I am impressed by, is how people are the same all over the world. I live in Michigan U.S.A and would live nowhere else, but Australia is the greatest place I have ever visited.

I have been to AU a few times while in USN and all I can say is that I am glad the forum isn't full of a bunch of dirty Poms. Did I get it right? Haha. I probably got it wrong Nd to all the Poms I'm just kidding.

Probably got pom wrong - been over 20 years.

My first experience with Auzies was Wikiki Beach we wer in port and they were in port - spring break 86. Ispent the whole five days with those guys. I showed up an 18 yr old boy.... hahaha

I'm not an Aussie Fred, I just spend too much time talking to Harry and James..
