Default Wouldn't it be nice if...

...they sold "front of you" drywall screws and "opposite wall" drywall screws instead of mixing them up in the same box...

...thought I'd start something silly and see if anybody else had similarly bright ideas...

Good luck...Nick

I guess you lost me, and I have installed a lot of drywall. What are you saying? THEY do not sell me anything, I go and pick out the screws I want.

What are "front of you" and "opposite wall" screws? Mine just come in lengths.

What? You've never had to use right wall and left wall screws?

Nick, you must be color blind, the ones for the left side of the room are blue, and ones for the other side of the room are red, pay attention it will make hanging dry way a lot easier and less frustrating.

And unfortunately the ones for the middle of the room are almost impossible to find.

Isn't that what drywall collated screwgun screw strips are for? To organize alike screws to the correct orientation? Of course... left-handed screws would be a good joke on someone coming to work on something you did, behind you... Hmmm: "Apprentice! I have something for you to do..."

I've used air nailers before, but the nails never stick and always end up on the floor.

I glue all my drywall. It's the only method I can "stick to" until the job is done.
