I've tried to keep my Facebook info locked down and minimal, but 'they' do know a lot about me.

It appears to be a publicity stunt for a new game, but it's weird how sinister they can make our data.

There's also a faux password "cracker". Watch it for a little bit. It picks up bits and pieces of your info.

They call it a game.

I don't do facebook, have never done facebook, and do not intend to ever do facebook. For just those reasons, and more.

Getting involved with FB has always seemed like a bad idea and nothing has ever happened to convince me otherwise. This just reinforces that belief.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

No social media of any type for me, even forums I keep to myself except in the main forum.

Bots are able to trawl for data anywhere. And so can anyone else physically. Case in point was poor Barb who had tools stolen.

Dido Theo and others, no F B for this ol guy either. My wife uses it and I have to shake my head at what goes on with it and what she sees.

Totally agree, Angie!
I keep getting messages saying that somebody(s) I know wants me to join them on LinkedIn. When I ask the person(s), verbally, they claim they know NOTHING about it!
That means that their e-mail addy list has been data mined, unbeknownst to them.
Social media: bad juju...
