Default Where to purchase wood..

I know this sounds silly...however my local Home Depot does not carry hardwood or exotic types of wood...any suggestions here locally in B.C. Canada.

Hi, Ron.
-PJ White
PJ White Hardwoods Ltd.
They're not really a retail business, so having a commercial business helps with the cash sale purchasing.

There's another one somewhere in the Lower Mainland but I can't remember the name. Lee Valley sells small pieces.

Check your local phone directory, that's my first choice.

If you can get free pallets there, depending on where the pallet is made, could have a variety of woods, ranging from exotic to mundane. And free wood is 'always' popular wood.

If you ever get to Seattle go to Crosscut Hardwoods.
Just about every specie commercially available.
