Default t is with deep regret...........

It is with great sadness and deep regret I have to inform the forum of the passing of my dear friend Bob Jurgens, Bobj3. He passed away peacefully last evening at about 5.00 pm in hospital from respiratory failure. The last email that I received from him said that he was in rehab on Oxygen but didn't think he was in a life threatening situation.
Bob, one of the earliest members was an expert jig maker and was always there to help members and I'm sure that I speak on behalf of all members in passing on our condolences to his wife Ann, which I have done. I know that Bob is going to be badly missed, sure, at times, like me he was a bit controversial but it all added to the "ambiance" of the forum. Harry

Harry, thanks for the info. I know I will miss him.

I wonder if it is possible, and if it would be appropriate, for there to be a message sent from RouterForums members to his wife and family?

That is terrible news Harry.

Maree and I will both miss him.

Although he a had a gruff exterior, he was still kind enough to let Maree and I visit him at his home in 2012.

To have met the man just the once was not enough.

I feel like such a fool. As I told you, I saw BJ was logged on to the forum and sent him a PM saying it was good to see him back,

It must have been Ann logged on to PM the sad news to you....

I know that I will be sending a card from Australia,,,,,

Not many people have his home address ,and once the sad news had been passed on, I would assume that his account will be logged of for a final time.

At this point in time try sending a PM , that is how I received the news from Ann. I've felt numb all day and struggling to come to terms with such awful news.

WOW! I am certainly saddened to learn of this. Bob was a fantastic contributor to this forum. He had an interesting "delivery about him" that was quite unique! He will be missed by thousands of members and readers.
Thanks also go to you, Harry for this important; yet sad information.
