Default Forum operators manual

Okay...
so where is this forum's operator's manual???
specifically the page covering inserting pictures into the post but not as an attachment...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

PM me on what you were trying to do, what it did... and I'll look into it. You know me, I like a challenge.

Are the pictures on your own PC hard drive, or on a site where you can post a link?

As I see it, unless I can access your PC via a URL, I cannot see the pictures?

That is the problem Stick... the Toolbar Picture embedding button only works for URL's to photo's on the web. But, here's a trick I use.

If you want to embed a photo in your post and you don't have anything like photo-bucket (or such)... Upload them like you are going to use them as an attachment... After you upload them, remove them as being an attachment from your post. Go to your uploads (They'll still be there in your uploads, even though you remove them as being attachments) and find those pictures and use them the forums upload url for them as the URL in the embedded picture dialog box.

Example from my uploads:

Here's another example from your uploads:

Does that make sense? Or should I post some screen shots of the process?

I kinda sorta got dense right after ""Upload them like you are going to use them as an attachment""....
