Default Snacks and desserts

You know that neighbor that has that really special knack for those like nobody else can do sticky buns???

Well she was by today and brought over an apple pie...
this thing was 18" square and solidly over 2˝" thick...
awwwww man it was world class in the tasty department... as in one of a kind...
she even supplied the two gallons of home churned pralines ice cream....

so my questions are....

should this pie have yielded more than just one piece??? (major heated discussion about this going on right now)...
and is two gallons of ice cream just the right/appropriate amount of topping???

the pan is all clean ready to go back because I sure hope/pray she does refills....
must have taken twenty minuets to lick it spotless..

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

Stick....

Heh...sounds right to me, Stick. Scrawny portions lead to arguments.
Reminds me of the apple cakes Mom made when I was a kid. She'd make it in the morning and it'd be gone by dinner time. Pretty much me to blame.
Why do they bother making any other pies than apple?

Well, Stick,

Whatever it is, sounds like it is worth the bribe!

Hi, sorry I missed you. I have gone to find myself, but if I return before I get back, please ask me to wait.

That pie sounds awesome. I'm getting hungry. :-) Apple season is the best, and one of our favorites are cinnamon rolls with chopped apples in the filling. And I have to say, nothing lasts too long here - sometimes I need to hide a piece for myself. . .
