Default A plea for peace on the forum

Dear members this is a plea for those who had issues with Harry to please reconcile, with the passing of BJ and Mike being absent due to ill health we cannot afford to lose Harry as well. As we are losing to much knowledge and technical expertise I implore you to help to get Harry back he is very sorely missed. Please let bye gones be bye gones and put the passed behind us . regards carl

I agree!
I always look for Harry's posts and have gained a lot from his expertise.

As James says, it's a two- way street. We have certain codes of conduct that members are expected to adhere to and there are no exceptions to those rules.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Default Politics and/in Woodworking

This Forum is far better complete than any one single component. It only works when you include everyone who really wants to be here. Keeping in mind there is a lot lost in translation when you are not speaking to someone face to face, we HAVE to make some small allowances in our judgement. Please Gentlemen; Politics and woodworking worship do not mix!!!!

I don't know the full extent of the details nor do I really care, but guys, grudges aren't worth it. This just adds more stress to already stressful lives. Not too mention, I have seen first hand the lifelong regret by someone who forever lost the opportunity to resolve a grudge. It just isn't worth it. There is NOTHING that has gone on in the forum that warrants this. My advice to those involved, lets all be adults, agree to disagree, shake hands, and move on!

My impression, Mike, is that is exactly what Harry has done; moved on.
We can't force him to return to commenting and sharing his expertise.
Our loss.

Dan,
I don't disagree with you there. Just making an observation/recommendation. It is up to those involved if they follow.
