Default What would you get???

I just found out my company is giving me a retirement gift, and I can choose just about anything I want up to a cost of $4,000.00. It can't be anything for the house Furniture or appliances, it has to be hobby related (woodworking, or metal working) travel, Personal, etc...., and it can be multiple items just can't exceed the $4k limit.

I already have a fairly complete metal shop and wood shop, so I'm trying to think what I would get..... Maybe replace one or two of the cheaper machines, or ??

Hopefully if you guys throw your suggestions out here I might see something I don't have or I want....

Thanks
Suggest away!!!!

This is another one of those times when filling out your profile would be helpful.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Danny; without knowing what your present situation ( tool wise) is, how can any one make a practical suggestion? (I still think taking a depths-of-Winter extended holiday to a tropical paradise ranks right up there with a new tablesaw... )

I thought about a trip, but I'm not that into travel, being mostly deaf makes it hard. so I usally hang around what and where I know.

Buy yourself a really nice stash of some premium wood. Then complete your tool needs. Then go for that once in a lifetime build. .
