Default Slightly large hinges

Do you think these may be a tad too big for a jewellery box? LOL

Size 10 boot for scale

I can't lift the hinge, never mind the lid that it would attach to.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
